Mike Rowley, from Lister Trade Frames Accounts Department, recently completed a 10 mile charity hike to the top of Mount Snowdon and back in support of Listers main charity the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Mike and his grandson Oscar braved the weather (yes it was this summer) to raise over £300 for their “Time to Care” appeal which provides specialist nursing assistants who give end of life care and support for patients in their own home 24 hours a day. This hands-on care is provided alongside other community healthcare providers and offers support, assistance and reassurance to those facing this most difficult of times.

“Despite the weather, it was a great day” said Mike. “We did see a little sunshine during the day and best of all we knew that our hike would be helping others less able.”
