URBIS' LUMINAIRES LIGHT UR BELFAST'S CUSTOMHOUSE SQUARE
Urbis' Luminaires Light
06/10/2006
Indirect lighting around Customhouse Square in Belfast has helped give the area a unique identity. Floodlights, fitted with 150W CDM-T lamps throw an alluring, soft white light into a top reflector mounted atop slender copper wrapped columns. The effect brings the square's new features to light at night.
Indirect lighting brings real advantages for urban lighting solutions. As the lamp is hidden from view it reduces glare for pedestrians and road users. The optic's protector is also less prone to vandalism, as it is hard to reach from the ground. Perfect for withstanding the rigours of the urban environment.
