Marley Waterproofing has added to its impressive range of waterproofing products by introducing Uniply PVC into the UK, one of the most established and proven roofing membranes in Europe.

Manufactured in state of the art facilities in the Netherlands, Uniply PVC is a roofing membrane with a unique polyester reinforcement and was the first of its kind in Europe. It remains the market leader in the Netherlands and has been established for well over 40 years.

The Uniply PVC range is exclusive to Marley Waterproofing and its unique polyester reinforcement gives it exceptional mechanical properties and performance characteristics. This allows for the use of wider rolls and reduces the number of fixings, facilitating a rapid and simple installation.

The polyester reinforcement mesh which forms the basis of Uniply PVC is uniquely woven and is non-wick, preventing the ingress of moisture in the membrane itself. The very flat reinforcement mesh ensures that the lower polymer layer is also flat and evenly distributed. The polyester mesh is completely protected by a single UV-stabilised layer of high performance PVC. This protection prolongs the service life of the roof membrane, something that has been recognised by the BBA which has given Uniply PVC a life expectancy ‘in excess of 30 years’, as long as any single ply product.

Uniply PVC forms a clean, uniform finish on all types of flat roof application, whether mechanically secured or fully adhered, and is also suitable for use on podium roofs and terraces.

Speaking about the range, Marley Waterproofing’s Commercial Director Gilbert Jackson said “We are delighted to introduce one of Europe’s most proven membranes into the UK. Uniply PVC customers will benefit from Marley Waterproofing’s established full service offer which takes the client through the whole process from initial consultation, through specification and design, to ongoing monitoring and maintenance.”
