Resulting from specific customer demands and in line with their aggressive new product introduction programme into the UK, world leading manufacturer of low voltage electrical components, CHINT have now introduced a new range of ultra-slim, wall mounted, 3 phase Distribution Boards into the UK market.

Combining top quality and reliability with affordable prices, these new NXDB Distribution Boards will be available from selected wholesalers from January 1st. 2006, and will initially comprise of 4,6,8 & 12 way board configurations, with larger models due to be launched in the Spring.

The aesthetically pleasing yet ruggedly built metal clad Distribution Boards are designed for wall mounting and are available in an attractive (RAL 9016) neutral paint finish. The low-profiling (100mm depth) of the 4, 6 and 8 way models; offer an attractive characteristic that many designers and installers will greatly appreciate. Whilst the 12 way and future models will have added depth to accommodate heavier rated cables

Graham Chadwick, Vice President of CHINT EUROPE (UK) said., 'The introduction of these new NXDB slim-line Distribution Boards represents a significant milestone on the road to CHINT being recognised as a major supplier of innovative, top quality products into the UK electrical market.'

Designed to suit a wide variety of working environments, the new NXDB range offers installers an `easy to open' front access panel, with removable top and bottom gland plates allowing for precision drilling to accommodate variable cable entries and with the adoption of recent European harmonised wiring identification colours, together with CHINT's range of internationally approved MCB's and RCCD's, ensures for safe and trouble free installations. This new product offering further complements the company's well established and increasingly popular range of Consumer Units and the recently introduced NM1 T range of enclosed MCCB's.
