 | | HELICAL STAIR AT MILLPOOL HOUSE | | | Spiral Cellar | | 09/08/2007 | | | Spiral Construction have just completed the design, manufacture and installation of a classical helical stair for a house in the Cotswolds. Working with leading design company Janine Stone Spiral designed a stunning double flight helical stair with mild steel balustrading and wooden handrails to give a feeling of timeless elegance. The stair replaced an ugly 1960's timber dog-leg flight and now allows the hallway and reception areas to flood with light. The stair design combined 21st century computer technology with laser cut stringers contrasting with hand-crafted oak handrails. The picture says it all.
