A new section in merchant Ridgeons’ comprehensive Heating & Plumbing publication has been introduced to reflect the growing demand in the industry for renewable energy products. The 120-page guide now features the company’s range of solar technology systems and energy-efficient wood burning stoves.

Ridgeons’ Heating & Plumbing publication is designed to offer more than a simple catalogue, as Product Group Manager Dave Jordan explains: “We now offer a comprehensive range of heating and plumbing products backed up by the services of fully trained staff and the book is designed to reflect this. It contains a wealth of technical information – in fact, you could use it to design a heating system. We have also given full contact details for our own heating and plumbing centres, plus manufacturers’ contact details and a list of governing bodies in case customers need clarification on any installation regulations.”

In the renewables section of the book, Ridgeons features both the Wolf and the Grant UK solar technology ranges together with cylinder ranges suitable for solar systems from leading manufacturers such as Albion, Ariston, Oso and Heatrae. Ridgeons’ range of energy efficient wood burners is produced by Scandinavian market leader Varde Ovne and delivers 80% energy efficiency.
