Tarmac will demonstrate its comprehensive 'Toolkit' of products and added-value services for self-builders and renovators at the new National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon.

This `Toolkit' is designed to be an overview of Tarmac's building products portfolio. It focuses on quality, cost and convenience to show how using Tarmac's superior products and specialist services can help self-builders and renovators save time and effort.

Visitors to the Centre will be able to see a number of Tarmac products 'in-situ' at the `educational journey' section, as well as use their barcode scanners to get more information on individual products and services at Tarmac's permanent exhibition stand in the trade village (stand TV84). Products on show range from mixes for concrete foundations and thermally efficient flooring solutions, through to special mortar mixes, screeds and renders, blocks for wall construction and concrete flooring systems.

Samples and descriptions of each product will also be available on stand, to offer people a more visual understanding of how Tarmac can help them achieve the desired finish they require in their future developments or renovation projects.

Tarmac has also invested in a range of practical supply and delivery solutions that can make a real difference to the small developer or renovator, by enabling them to order products in more convenient quantities. In fact, Tarmac screeds, mortars and concretes can be delivered in volumes from as little as 0.5 m³ and can be delivered to even the smallest site at timely intervals. A network of UK plants and distributors also means Tarmac has have nationwide delivery capabilities.

Commenting on their presence at the NSBRC Simon Baugh, Tarmac's marketing manager for building products said: "With a big brand like Tarmac, many people don't realise that we offer a whole toolkit of building products for the self-build and renovation markets. We are able to provide a range of solutions and services that can help give developers the cutting edge and ultimately help customers achieve a quality finished build."
