BDA EXPANDS MEMBERSHIP

Brick Development Association (BDA)

Membership of the Brick Development Association (BDA) is growing with the addition of five new member companies. Since the beginning of the year the Swarland Brick Company, W H Collier, Errol Brick, HG Matthews and Chartwell Brickworks, all independent brick makers, have taken the decision to join the Association.

All BDA member companies benefit from access to the BDA's comprehensive marketing program, technical expertise, statistical service and lobbying activity. The expansion of BDA membership brings the total to 28 companies that represent over 95% of the UK and Ireland's brick manufacturing capacity.

BDA Director Michael Driver stated, 3The expansion of our Membership to its present levels marks a significant period for the BDA and reinforces the importance of brick in our environment. I am delighted that the newcomers are all small independent concerns who will strengthen the BDA but also reap the benefits of membership.
