(AMCA) convened for their Midyear Meeting in Chicago, IL. The meetings were hosted by current AMCA President, Pete Neitzel of Greenheck Fan Corporation, and Lee Buddrus of Acme Engineering and Manufacturing Corporation Chairman of the Board. The meeting was attended by AMCA Members, Board of Directors, AMCA Senior Staff, and guests.
The committee, division, council and regional members met for 3 days, not only taking care of general housekeeping, but to revamp and refocus the AMCA Strategic Plan. AMCA's worldwide outreach is vast and is growing at record rates with positive impact; a direct reflection of the hard work by the AMCA Board and staff, striving to fulfil the goals and directives of the association's Strategic Plan. Traditionally, the plan has been reviewed and updated or revamped as needed every 3-4 years. During her 'State of the Association' presentation Barbara Morrison, AMCA Executive Director stated:
'The growth of the association, its programs, and the recognition of them in the global community is an indicator of future success for AMCA International.'
