The complete face protection solution for general industry
Scott Health & Safety part of Tyco Fire and Security announce the launch of the Protector Interchange 900 Face Protection range, a new and innovative development in face protection. Interchange 900 offers uniquely shaped face shield mounts for use on either new head mounted brow guard or helmet mounted carriers. Interchange 900 face shields offer the user a high degree of protection and comfort from a diverse range of impact, splash and high heat hazards, by utilising a wide selection of materials to suit almost every industrial application.
The new Interchange 900 face protection range uses specially shaped face shields to comprehensively protect the wearer, whilst allowing full movement of the wearer's head to ensure maximum vision and comfort. The Interchange 900 face shield chin guard design also offers the wearer the ultimate in splash protection, whatever the angle of the hazard. All Polycarbonate and Acetate face shield options are available in anti-fog, which reduces the issue of poor visibility whilst working in variable temperature environments.
The complete Interchange 900 face shield carrier range uses an easy to connect three point attachment system, allowing one range of IV900 (IV=Interchange Visor) face shields to fit all the Interchange 900 carriers. This simplifies the selection of face protection for the customer and alleviates issues of fit and compatibility. A major advantage for the distributor is that it allows them to stock one range of carriers and face shields for all applications.
The innovative design of the IM917 and IM917C (IM = Interchange Metal) helmet face shield carriers utilises a twin seal system; to minimise the opportunity for dust and liquids to work their way onto the inside of the face shield in heavy industrial applications. This feature improves wearer comfort and helps to eliminate eye injuries at work.
The new IB900 and EE3950 (IB = Interchange Browguard) lightweight brow guard face shield carriers offer a choice of HDPE or Nylon materials to suit a range of light/heavy industrial, high temperature and chemical applications. Well balanced and comfortable to wear, these brow guards feature an easy to adjust ratchet head mechanism, face shield lock up position and soft-touch terry towelling sweatband.
The IC900 (IC = Interchange Carrier) nylon helmet mounted face shield carrier has a contoured design, which offers an excellent fit to the Protector Style 300 and Style 600 safety helmets. Suitable for industrial, high heat and forrestry applications, this face shield connects to the helmet via the flexible FXVP visor post system or Protector EC ear defenders.
The availability of the new Interchange 900 face range will simplify and assist users in identifying and selecting the correct face protection for their hazardous operation, and is acknowledged as a major step forward in the development of face protection for industry workers.
