Four bright Bolton 'sparkies' walked off with top class tool prizes after winning awards at their college's annual apprentice awards.
The tools and tool bags - provided by the UK's leading supplier of electrician's tools, C.K Tools - were presented to the electrical installation apprentices at Bolton Community College.
Apprentices Craig Buckley (18), and Anthony Fletcher (21), each won an award in the Best in Occupation category; Ian Drake (20), took the Special Achievement award and Dean Little (18), was named electrical Apprentice of the Year.
Tutor, Malcolm Carson, says: 'Winning the awards gives the lads a real sense of achievement and gives them something extra to put on their CVs.
'And getting quality tool prizes is important, as they learn to appreciate the value of working with the right equipment.'
