Dual-sided fabric in new industrial+ Big Wipes
Significant advances in on-the-job hygiene are coming in the shape of Big Industrial Wipes and dual-sided Industrial+ Big Wipes - two new ranges of anti-bacterial heavy-duty cleaning wipes for workshop personnel and tradesmen on the move. Both wipes remove oil and water based paints, instant grab adhesives, silicone and acrylic sealants, PU foam, oil, tar, grease, permanent marker and general grime from hands, tools and surfaces.
Sycamore UK's established Big Wipes range - the only industrial wipes to be dermatologically tested and to comply with the European Cosmetic Standard - is already the leading trade brand having gained a Which? 'Best Buy' seal of approval for their ability to disperse a wide variety of stains and contaminants on different surfaces.
Now with an additional anti-bacterial cleaning action, the new Big Industrial Wipes have been laboratory proven to kill 99.68% of Listeria, Staphylococcus, E. coli and Salmonella bacteria within 30 seconds - making them ideally suited to cleaning hands before a lunch or tea break, especially where on-site washing facilities are limited.
The extremely strong 200mm x 300mm throwaway wipes are impregnated with a generous blend of safely-diluted cleaning solvents and emulsifiers. Pleasantly perfumed, they should retain their moistness and effectiveness for up to a year after opening thanks to a resealable airtight cap.
A 70/30 blend of polypropylene and viscose gives the wipes exceptional dirt absorbency, softness and toughness so that they can be used aggressively without disintegrating.
The new Big Industrial Wipes come in portable tubs of 80 or 50 pull-out sheets, a Wallet Pack of 20 and a new 250 wipe Bucket. There is also a new economical refill pack for the 80 wipe tubs.
With suggested retail prices of £1.44 excluding VAT (Wallet), £2.54 (50 Tub), £5.95 (80 Tub) and £14.95 (250 Bucket), with 80 refills at £4.95, Big Industrial Wipes will be available from March 2006 at leading trade counters including Dulux Decorator Centres, Jewson, Brewers, Plumb Center, Plumbase, Makro, HSS Hire Shops, CEF and Halfords.
New Industrial+ Big Wipes
Further extending its range, Sycamore has also announced a new deluxe dual-sided fabric under the Industrial+ Big Wipes brand. Soft and absorbent on one side, these wipes have a gently abrasive underside, which makes them doubly effective at removing stubborn stains without sacrificing absorbency.
Available only in Tubs of 80 and Buckets of 250, Industrial+ Big Wipes are priced at £795 and £19.95 respectively (suggested retail price excluding VAT).
