A collaboration between Pittsburgh Corning, manufacturers of FOAMGLAS® and Telling Lime Products Limited of Wolverhampton, creates this latest exterior wall insulation system which brings particular benefits to new build, renovation and refurbishment applications, as it is applied directly to the existing external wall surface.
The system uses the latest FOAMGLAS® product - W+F®Slab - which like the other products in the range, is totally impervious to water and water-vapour ensuring that there is no seepage of water into a poor external wall surface. FOAMGLAS® does not deteriorate with age, maintaining its full insulation value for the lifetime of the construction; it is rigid and dimensionally stable and with a low coefficient of expansion (approximately that of concrete) there is no danger of joints between the slabs of insulation opening.
