WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme)
11/10/2006

WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) has approved Logic Certification's Water Regulations course, developed to provide installers with the required knowledge to enable them to join either their local water authority's approved plumber list, or a competent persons scheme, i.e. CORGI Part G plumbing CPS.

`Logic Certification designed and wrote the course in consultation with WRAS. It provides an alternative to BPEC, the only certification body to have a WRAS approved course until now. The course covers the requirements of the 1999 Water Regulations (water fittings) as well as touching on requirements from approved document G and BS6700, and its subsequent replacement, BS806. An accompanying candidate training manual is provided free of charge to centres by Logic Certification.

The Logic Certification course is a one day training and assessment package; it includes workbook exercises and has an end assessment of 40 multiple-choice questions. There is no home study to be completed prior to attendance.

The Water Regulations course complements Logic Certification's Legionella Prevention and Water Treatment, and Unvented Hot Water courses. It is available at Logic Certification approved training centres nationwide, providing a wide choice of venues and flexible training programmes.
