 | | NEW AND REVISED DELAY AND DISRUPTION MASTERCLASS | | | Pickavance Consulting | | 29/09/2006 | | | Discounted Places Available for a Limited Period
Dear Mr Sweet
May 17th 2006 sees the start of a new and updated two-day Masterclass from the CIOB and Pickavance Consulting. You will be pleased to hear that in response to demand, we have revised the timetable to include new talks and interactive sessions. Amongst these is a `delay analysis debate'. Four panellists will discuss various different techniques of analysing and presenting delay in construction projects. New speakers for 2006 include Fred Samelian, President of our parent company Hill International.
13 CPD HOURS
During the two days, you will be guided through all aspects of delay and disruption: management, analysis and presentation. The Masterclass studies all major forms of construction contract, and includes studies in record management, correctly notifying delay, presenting claims in different forums, and identifying/ analysing disruption. Designed to suit most levels of interest and knowledge, the two days are based around the award-winning book of the same title.
Low Rates & Early Booking Discount
The Masterclass is among the most cost-effective and intensive educational events available, and the enclosed brochure contains details of discounted places. These are available until 24th April 2006. When you reserve a place before this date, you can benefit from a £100 saving over normal rates, which remain lower than most comparable educational events.
In addition to a full set of course notes, numerous documents are included free of charge as part of the course, including the Society of Construction Law (SCL) Delay and Disruption Protocol, the PFE contract supplements, and a paper from the SCL event -'the Great Delay Analysis Debate'.
The Brewer's Hall in the City of London is our host venue for 2006. Home to the ancient liveried company of Brewers, it is extremely well equipped and ideally located for major tube and rail links into the City, with Moorgate, Liverpool Street, Bank and St Paul's all nearby.
The two-days are always popular, and with all the new content, this is the ideal time to update your knowledge, or simply develop and learn the latest techniques and skills. | |
