RITTAL TOPTHERM ACQUIRES A NANO COATING
NANO Technology
02/10/2006
Rittal enclosure cooling units can now be supplied with a NANO Technology coating which repels oil and dust and prevents particles from attaching to the condensers, even after prolonged periods of operation.
RiNano coating is available in both Rittal's wall and roof mounted units from 300W to 4000W and the application of this technology within the enclosure cooling market is an industry first.
The performance of cooling systems is particularly liable to deteriorate between 30 to 50% over time as the cooling membranes become dirtier. On completion of recent trials at a well-known vehicle manufacturing facility, the benefits of the NANO coating were made evident with reduced contamination, constant efficiency (compared to similar non NANO technology), simple cleaning and a reduction in service requirements.
