A dedicated LPG website, designed to assist housing developers building homes in off-mains gas areas, has been hailed a success after receiving over 4,000 visitors in just three months.

The new Calor website was established at the end of last year to meet the growing needs of developers searching for an alternative fuel solution in off-mains gas areas.

Calor is the UK's leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with a national infrastructure. The company, which has expertise in designing, managing and installing gas distribution networks, has a dedicated housing developer support team.

The new website is proving to be the first port of call for developers and features technical information, a guide to the installation process and case studies providing examples of previous Calor installations.

Sabrina Jackson, Calor's commercial market manager, believes the new site is an invaluable starting point for developers: 'With over 70 years experience we know the challenges that developers face in off mains gas areas. Calor can supply gas to these areas and we have a dedicated team that can develop specific solutions tailored to individual requirements in a matter of days.

'The new site is proving extremely popular and we are already in discussions with a number of developers to assist with their projects.'
