Kem Edwards Ltd., suppliers to the construction services industry nationwide, has launched an Innovations Roadshow campaign so that building services companies and construction groups can see, at first hand, the latest innovations in tools, fixings, electrical and PPE.
The Innovations Roadshow can be set-up at almost any location allowing all levels of staff to see how innovative tools and practices can save time, costs and also help solve skills gaps. These events are being supported by a range of manufacturers including, REMS, Milwaukee, Unistrut, ITW/Spit, IHL Walraven, UVEX, Datwyler and Klauke.
The first Innovations Roadshow event was held at Briggs and Forrester's headquarters in Northampton. Darren Grizzell, Procurement Manager, of Briggs and Forrester, said; 'It is one thing to talk about new products, but another to have the opportunity to experience them first hand. It was also very useful to see practical ways of meeting newer legislative requirements.'
Future events are planned around the U.K and include Bailey, Shepherd Engineering Services and other building services groups. Richard Edwards, Managing Director of Kem Edwards, said; 'People are coming to us because of our leading role in identifying innovative products. It is helpful to be able to take these products to our customers so that more people can experience the very latest ideas.'
Kem Edwards' full product range includes 15,000 stock lines covering fixings, site equipment, mechanical and electrical components, tools, personal protection equipment and general site supplies. High profile projects for the company have included the Millennium Dome, Heathrow's Terminal 5, Wembley, redevelopment of Canary Wharf.
