ALREFLEX 2L2 STILL A LOW COST CAVITY SOLUTION FOR PART L, 2006
Thermal Economics
27/10/2006
Alreflex 2L2, Thermal Economics' combined cavity insulation and rainwater barrier product, continues to offer a successful solution for Part L 2006 after twenty years successful use by major UK housebuilders. Alreflex 2L2 has been used in more than sixty thousand British homes without a single rainwater penetration complaint.
Alreflex 2L2 achieves a U value of 0.35 w/m2k in a 75mm cavity of 100mm aircrete block internal leaf. The system is able to provide a highly economic narrow wall section solution for most standard gas-fuelled home designs, meeting the new PART.L. TER (Target Carbon Emission Rating) criteria,
Thermal Economics will provide detailed technical advice including trial SAPs 2005 calculations.
