PLANET PARTITIONING PROVIDES PARTITIONING SOLUTIONS FOR SUPERMARKET GIANT MORRISONS

Planet Partitioning, the UK's leading partitioning contractor, has fitted out the newly built Morrison's head office building in Bradford with a range of partitioning solutions to create a functional and hi-tech interior.

Designed to house up to 1,500 employees and spread over three working floors, Planet utilised a mixture of solid and glazed partitioning to form all interior walls for the offices, suites and meeting rooms and also created attractive bespoke feature areas within the building.

Among the bespoke areas were eleven large rugby ball shaped facilities cores built to house toilets, communications rooms and mail drop areas. The intricately designed curved walls are solid with glazed areas to provide viewing slots and also contain recessed areas for hanging display. A further bespoke area is an angled feature wall in the atrium topped with a silver grill and designed to house display material and a Plasma TV screen.

Planet were commissioned for the project by architects AEMHA and also worked closely with TSK interior designers. Previous experience in creating challenging bespoke solutions was an instrumental factor in their appointment.
