Portable Anchor Installation Equipment from ABC Anchors.
The ABC 400 is a new Portable Anchor installer designed and manufactured by Wiltshire based company ABC Anchors.
Lightweight and easy to use, the product is designed to install helical screw piles up to 4000 Nm with a capacity up to 100kN, with no hydraulics - and therefore no leaks. The ABC 400 simply requires a 12v DC supply from vehicle electrics or battery pack and has an Instant torque readout obtained from the gauge.
With simple two-man operation, the ABC 400 features a lightweight telescopic torque reaction arm and is powered by a high-torque reversible motor perfect for AB Chance 38mm Square anchors or 60mm round screw piles.
The new portable installer is extremely compact allowing for easy transport and installation, it enables the operator to locate piles close to existing building foundations when carrying out under-pinning operations or installing piles and anchors in awkward sites.
'For us, the 'ABC 400' and 'Chance' screw piles open a new dimension in remedial piling.
