 | | NEW SPEC TEAM OFFERS BETTER BACK UP | | | Geocel Ltd | | 01/11/2006 | | | Sealant specialist Geocel has strengthened and expanded its specification support team to offer specifiers, fabricators and applicators working on SG. IG and Curtain walling projects some of the best back up in the business, offering more hands-on technical experience than ever before.
Headed up by UK Specification Manager Clive Ely, the team also comprises two UK Specification Specialists, Alan Lacey and Andy Worrall operating in the north and south respectively, and Geoff Hookem Key Account Manager in the glazing sector. All four are highly experienced in the glazing industry making them well-placed to offer advice and support on all of Geocel's products.
The new Specification Team is very hands on. They visit sites to advise specifiers on sealant selection, liaise with the Dow Corning Geocel technical team to arrange for joint design calculations, substrate and compatibility testing, and blueprint reviews to be carried out. They also carry out on-site and office-based training for specifiers and applicators.
Geocel and their Strategic Partner Dow Corning have built an unrivalled expertise in the design of joints and correct sealant specification and application with over fifty years experience in the market. The support offered by the new Specification Team is just part of a wide range of services which will support specifiers, designers and applicators through the whole process ensuring a trouble-free and efficient process.
Geocel combines a wealth of innovative technical and manufacturing expertise with a strong commitment to quality in the non-silicone field and, therefore, complements perfectly the experience and excellence of Dow Corning in its field of silicone technology. | |
