The Manchester-based business of building systems & service experts, Inviron Limited, has completed its move to new purpose-built offices near to Trafford Park.

The new offices reflect Inviron's growing presence in the North West, providing a flagship regional headquarters and company `standard bearer' in the eyes of customers and suppliers.

Operations were transferred over a single weekend so that Inviron's customer service levels could be maintained without disruption - the company's Didsbury office shutting down at 4.00 pm on the Friday and the new Trafford Park complex fully operational for start of business on the Monday.

The new facilities offer a more spacious and efficient layout for Inviron than was available at the Didsbury office, and, in keeping with Inviron's motto of `bringing environments to life' they reflect the very latest developments in ergonomic lighting, air conditioning and building management.

In fact, `bringing an environment to life' has never been truer with this project. Inviron - acting as both customer and main contractor - converted a new warehouse `shell' into an active, operational complex in barely nine weeks. Facilities include an open plan office with 60 workstations; first floor, purpose-built conference centre (freely available to customers and suppliers to use); reception area; generous warehouse; and ample car parking space for staff and visitors.

A significant architectural feature of the new build is a series of canvas `sails', which, suspended on tension wires and complemented by feature lighting, provide an attractive focal point within the open plan area.

The new premises improve Inviron's already high standards of service, shorten service response times, raise staff retention levels, and reflect Inviron's burgeoning presence in the North West's construction industry sector.

Project manager Alan Metcalfe comments: 'Though the build schedule was hectic and the transfer of operations somewhat complex, all the hard work has culminated in state-of-the-art premises for the North West region and a flagship base on which to consolidate and expand Inviron's business.'
