HALFEN INTRODUCES NEW SELF-ANCHORING CHANNELS
HALFEN
11/09/2006
A new range of Halfen HTU self-anchoring channels is now available to enable economical and adjustable connections to concrete structures using self-tapping screws.
Simply cast into the concrete, the Halfen HTU channel is securely anchored due to its dovetail shape. When the formwork is struck, it provides a generous connection area on the surface of the concrete to allow safe and reliable two-way connection adjustment using standard self-tapping screws. The channel's polystyrene infill provides a 25 mm thick pocket for penetration of the screw.
Halfen HTU self-anchoring channels are manufactured from pre-galvanised steel in profile sections of 40/25, 60/25 and 80/25. The choice of profile widths enables customer selection based on connection adjustment requirements. The range of profile widths combined with profile lengths of up to six metres, make the product suitable for the economical and accurate connection of a wide variety of components to concrete.
