 | | TRIPLE HONOURS FOR SAINT-GOBAIN PIPELINES
| | | Saint-Gobain Ecophon Limited | | 23/10/2006 | | | Saint-Gobain Pipelines has scooped its third award in the last four months for its `Burning Question' campaign, developed to promote the use of cast iron above and below-ground drainage systems for the water, public sector and general construction industries.
This latest accolade was presented by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, in the `Integrated PR Campaign' category at the CIPR PRide Awards 2005/06. It follows closely on the heels of an award presented by the International Network of Business Agencies (INBA) in October last year and `Best B2B PR Campaign', a national PR BAFTA presented at the Academy's Piccadilly headquarters in November to recognise excellence in B2B marketing.
Devised jointly with Saint-Gobain Pipelines' marketing communications partner Wyatt International, the focal point of `The Burning Question' was a press event which dramatically revealed the potential consequences of the fire hazard created by certain types of plastic systems as opposed to cast iron systems which posed no fire risk.
