Essential reference material for architects and specifiers, two new titles have been added to Knauf Drywall's free Design Partner series, providing up-to-date and comprehensive technical guides to drywall construction.

Complementing the extensive technical information in its Complete Drywall Manual, Knauf Drywall's Design Partner series focuses on key building types, and the specific challenges of design or regulation that each presents. By condensing and explaining all relevant technical and regulatory information in a single source, each Design Partner title enables architects and specifiers to save valuable time when specifying drywall products and systems.

The new Schools brochure unravels the requirements of BB93, and highlights Knauf Drywall's optimised solutions to meet the toughest acoustic demands for school buildings. It also shows how the correct choice of drywall materials complies with fire safety standards and satisfies the need for durable surfaces without the need to resort to a masonry construction.

The new Commercial, Retail and Leisure brochure covers a wide range of drywall applications across the public and private sectors. It demonstrates the versatility of Knauf Drywall systems in a variety of buildings including offices, retail centres, hotels, leisure and entertainment venues, stadiums and airport terminals.

Other Design Partner titles are also available, detailing drywall construction in housing and hospitals.

Copies of all Design Partner titles may be ordered through Knauf Drywall's literature hotline. Alternatively, they are available in easily downloaded pdf format from the Knauf Drywall website

Also on the Knauf Drywall website is the innovative Partition Selector. This free online tool saves hours for specifiers by helping them to pick the best partition - and then writing a comprehensive specification instantly.

Knauf Drywall manufactures a full range of plasters, plasterboards, insulating laminates, drywall accessories, metal sections and steel building systems, for domestic and commercial applications, from factories at Sittingbourne in Kent and Immingham on Humberside.
