A patented curtaining system that has cornered the market in commercial window dressing in America and Europe makes its UK debut at Hotelympia thanks to Evans Textiles.

Evans is partnering the British Contract Furnishers Association stand (S4850/4) at the exhibition at Excel from February 19-23 and the unique Evaglide system, in which all 'Smart Klick' components are universal throughout the range, will take centre stage. Manufactured from powder-coated aluminium to ensure low maintenance and performance longevity, the system can hold any weight of fabric from walls or ceilings and can be reverse-bent on site without creasing. Simple installation and maintenance make it ideal for hotels, motels, offices, schools and hospitals.

Available in hand-drawn and corded versions, all of which are performance guaranteed, the products are impressive in their 'Click in, click out' ease of use with brackets fitting any track. Wooden batons and pelmet boards are no longer required as pelmets and dress curtains can be hung directly on the brackets.

The heavy-duty, hand-drawn CS or Contract System (or CCS Corded Contract System), designed to hold medium to heavy drapes or long drops, is available in four lengths and can be curved and reverse-curved using a 20cm/8' radius or even continuous curved.

For medium-weight curtains, the hand-drawn KS or Klick System (or CKS Corded Klick System) can be used for special window decorations such as circular, arched and triangular shapes, and can be curved and reverse-curved using a 10cm/4' radius or continuous curved.

The DS or Design System takes this one stage further, creating a discreet track where the drapes hang underneath, making it particularly suitable for the Ripplefold system which enables even amateurs to dress the perfect pleat every time.

However, design options are available for all the Evaglide systems, including an enclosed Velcro Blind system and a 'no curl' laminated Panel system, designed specifically for floor to ceiling applications and currently popular in contemporary apartments.
