Hochiki is introducing two new call points to comply with the new EN5411:2001 Standard. Both models, the HCP-E call point and the HCP-E(DPS) standard dual pole switch, are fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP analogue addressable protocol.

The new call points are simply addressed and, as with all of Hochiki's ESP products, they are installer-friendly. Incorporating quick fit terminals, which are fast and easy to connect, as well as quick to commission, these call points significantly reduce costs and penalty risks for the installer.

Approved to UK and international standards, the new HCP series is backwardly compatible with the existing MCP series.

Each model incorporates a red LED, which can be selected as polling/non-polling during commissioning and is continuously illuminated when the call point is activated.

The DPS version incorporates a changeover 'C Form', non-latching contact that allows the installer to connect additional equipment to the unit. Models are supplied with a non-frangible (plastic element). Glass is offered as an optional extra. Addresses can be easily programmed via the TCH- B100 programmer and quick fit terminals ensure that the products can be easily connected to the fire system at second fix which greatly reduces commissioning time.

Weatherproof versions with Ingress Protection rated to IP67 will also be available.
