Body and plate snap together when the door is fitted. With larger doors it can be awkward to align the hinges for snap fitting because the body can only be located at one end of the mounting plate.
The Sugatsune 230 concealed hinge has a specially designed mounting plate with slots at both ends which allows the hinge to be introduced at either end before pushing home. The added flexibility offered by the Sugatsune 230 concealed hinge greatly eases the fitters job. It is also fully adjustable.
