Achieving a Green Guide rating of A+, the façade system enables designers to reach the environmental demands placed on projects without compromising on the architectural design.
Designed to reflect the environmental impact of building materials from the cradle to the grave, the Green Guide assesses the performance of a product over 13 categories, including mineral resource extraction, fossil fuel depletion and waste disposal. An overall Green Guide rating is then produced ranging from A+ to E, with A+ indicating the best environmental performance for the specified type of building element.
Awarded an A+ rating in the Green Guide, the Kingspan Off-Site Fabrik Façade System is a lightweight, high performance external cladding solution. Comprising a high-strength external façade on a glass reinforced concrete backing, factory-fixed to a Kingspan Architectural Carrier System, the system provides a completely unitised and insulated wall solution. Suitable for use with steel, timber or concrete frame structures, the Kingspan Off-Site Fabrik Façade panels offer design flexibility, with a wide choice of external finishes and textures available.
