 | | PILKINGTON’S LAUNCHES NEW SELECT CERAMIC WALL TILE COLLECTION | | | Pilkington's Group Plc | | 13/10/2008 | | | Pilkington’s is pleased to announce the launch of the ultra-modern Select Ceramic Wall Tile Collection. The collection comprises of three new, contemporary large format 400x250mm tile designs with elegant decorative and mosaic borders. The Select Collection was designed to provide a complete tiling solution; wall tiles and borders with a range of options for coordinating floor tiles. All the products in the collection are quality assured and manufactured in the UK to one base shade, with deliberate random pattern where appropriate, designed to present a high-quality range that offers excellent value.
The Select Collection includes the Antilles, Marmo and Phase ranges. The natural appearance and random patterns of Antilles and Marmo offer added depth and luxury to design schemes, whilst the Phase range is available in striking gloss and lozenge finishes allowing for the creation of contrasting and elegant design schemes.
Antilles is a sophisticated collection of satin stone effect tiles, available in white, cream and natural colourways that are ideal in both modern and classical design schemes. Subtle prints add depth and personality and work well with the latest trends in warm wood bathroom accessories. Combined with matching brickbond and mosaic strips, Antilles creates sleek feature panels, whilst the Saba natural strip provides a contrasting high-gloss finish to add a touch of glamour.
Marmo is inspired by the timeless elegance of real marble. Carrera and Marquina influenced black and white colour options re-create the beauty of polished marble, and contrasting schemes can be created with co-coordinating Nastro and Saba borders. Subtle linear veining combined with a gloss surface harmonises well with modern high gloss furniture, fittings, baths and sanitary ware.
Phase embodies an ultra modern feel, combining well with the latest in gloss sanitary ware and furniture. Black and white gloss colours provide a fashionable monochrome finish, whilst gloss cream presents calm, elegant statements. Stylish decorative borders offer a range of design options from the traditional chequered mosaic to the more dramatic, retro Aspect strips. The stripe strip complements the clean, glossy finish of Phase, linking well with chrome accessories owing to the subtle application of real platinum. Phase is also available as a lozenge tile, with red score and black score options. Phase Lozenge tiles are ideal to create feature walls when teamed with Phase wall tiles, and the bold colour and design accentuates contemporary furnishings and fittings.
The Select Collection perfectly meets with the current interior design trends for the use of large format tiles and striking decors. The 400x250mm tiles create a sense of spaciousness within modern living spaces and combine perfectly with Pilkington’s Dimensions, Regal, Super and Pietra floor tile ranges.
