PERMO FORTE FOR PSEUDO GOTHIC CASTLE
Klober Ltd
08/10/2008
Klober’s Permo Forte has been used as part of the refurbishment of cottages on the estate of Aldourie Castle, on the east shore of Loch Ness. Specified by Skipton based Rural Concepts Group, the product was used in a traditional manner over sarking boards. The work is a precursor to refurbishment of steadings and pier cottages, which will become the hub of planned holiday accommodation, as well as construction of a boathouse and dwelling, The pseudo gothic castle and 93 acres were detached from the original 3,000-acre estate, when purchased in 2002 by a Californian company. In the wake of 9/11, however, they were sold on to Rural Concepts.
Internal alterations and refurbishment of the castle will be ready this year while the rest of the development will be complete by May 2009.
