 | | VERTICAL CASCADE FLUE SYSTEM ON THE UP | | | Evinox Ltd | | 17/09/2008 | | | Evinox Ltd were recently chosen by Circle 33 Housing Association to supply Geminox ZEM B120 combined appliances along with the unique vertical cascade flue solution to provide heating and hot water to their latest 87 apartment development in North London.
The 5-25 B120 has an in-built 120 litre hot water tank providing 21 L/min and recovers hot water from 10°to 60°C in only 12 minutes making it the ideal packaged solution for the new home or apartment. When in heating mode the boilers dual modulation allows it to downturn to just 5kW, and with the inbuilt weather compensation provides the excellent efficiency ratings required for planning.
All of the boilers were connected to the unique high-rise cascade flue installation, which enabled the boilers in high-rise to share a common 110mm flue up to 11 storeys providing a perfect solution for the apartment sector, reducing flue penetrations and maintaining the façade of the building.
The inbuilt microprocessor within the Geminox boiler enables adjustment of fan speeds to suit flue conditions and provide a balanced boiler and flue system. This guarantees optimum performance and efficiency, enables full boiler power output to be achieved, and ensures that the life expectancy of the boiler fan is not shortened because it has been overworked. The exceptionally low noise levels of the Geminox boilers ensure that cascade flue systems do not transfer any noise and are compliant with Part E Building Regulations. | |
