If the word ‘Biomass’ is not yet in your vocabulary, it certainly should be by the end of the winter.

Biomass heating solutions are sustainable using log, chip and pellet fuelled boilers. In this current climate of escalating fuel costs and environmental concern, they will become the sensible and cost saving option for many homeowners particularly those who currently rely on oil central heating.

Anticipating the new direction in the industry, leading heating stove distributor Euroheat has taken the lead and opened a National Biomass Training Centre and Showroom based at Court Farm Business Park, Bishops Frome, and Worcestershire.

The company’s managing director Simon Holden said, “There is no doubt that biomass heating solutions will be emerging as a mainstream heating option for homeowners. The centre is the only place in the UK where you will find the three available options, log, chip and pellet, operating side by side. This allows the trade to directly compare all three systems with trained specialist advisors so that they can become informed enough to assist customers in making the correct decision for their lifestyle and their home.”
