Wolseley is set to dispel the myths surrounding ground and air source heat pumps by hosting special seminars at its new Sustainable Building Center (SBC) in Leamington Spa.

The UK’s leading distributor of plumbing and heating products, which is also a major supplier of building materials, is hosting the free seminars on Monday 29 September (9am-12 noon and 1pm-4pm), and 9am-12noon on Tuesday 30 September and Friday 3 October.

During the event, Chris Booker, Wolseley’s product development manager at the SBC, will present with leading manufacturer Dimplex on key issues surrounding these renewable technologies – from system design and suitable applications, to efficiencies and payback.

Chris said: “Legislative, environmental and economic drivers are increasing the demand for ground and air source heat pumps. This free seminar will help give a greater understanding of these technologies.

“The SBC enables visitors to see many products in their working environment, and provides information on the benefits of the latest sustainable materials and construction methods.”
