Architects and designers looking for systems that will protect buildings against fire effectively but unobtrusively will find that the Schüco range of single and double leaf fire doors, screens and façades provides the perfect solution.

Constructed from top-quality aluminium, these systems have all been rigorously tested in specialist fire laboratories and deliver high levels of safety and security together with stability, narrow sight lines, a variety of finishes and a wide choice of design options.

Firestop II is a three-chambered thermally insulated profile system with a fire rating of EI 30. It contains two layers of fire board and is suitable for internal and external doors and screens. It can be specified one-colour painted, with anodised finishes or with different coloured inner and external faces.

By using different fire boards inside the aluminium profiles, Firestop II can be modified to achieve a EI 60 rating. Burglar resistant options are also available.

Fire-resistant façades, designated FW 50+BF (illustrated) and FW 60+BF, offer a choice of 50 mm and 60 mm face widths. Based on Schüco's highly successful standard façade systems, these are equipped with fire boards, steel pressure plates and special glazing to achieve either an E 30 or EI 30 rating.

In addition to vertical walls, these systems can be used in flat, angled or facetted forms, or as skylights. They are designed to accommodate Firestop II doors if required.
