 | | KOOLTECH GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH | | | Mitsubishi | | 11/08/2008 | | | Mitsubishi Electric wholesaler, Kooltech, has enjoyed a 40% growth in orders in the past year and is further expanding its operation, with the opening of a new branch in Aberdeen.
The growth has seen the company achieve sales of £21.6M in the year to date, with the most significant results coming from the larger VRF sector. However, Kooltech has seen year on year increases across the full range of Mitsubishi Electric products as well as the complete range of ancillaries that the company sells and supports.
Kooltech provides a comprehensive technical support to both consultants and a contractor, which has also seen the amount of specified project work significantly increase.
The success has come about as a result of the company’s deliberate policy of adding value to its customer offering, explains Managing Director Murray Sharp.
“We have focused on every aspect of what we do to increase the service we give to our customers,” he explained. “We are now supplying an enhanced level of air conditioning technical service, from initial design and equipment selection through to commissioning.”
To meet demand for this service, Kooltech continues to increase the number of application engineers it employs nationally at its eight branches.
John Hammond, Kooltech’s National Technical Manager is also fully approved by Mitsubishi Electric to carry out product training and onsite services whilst maintaining a full Mitsubishi Electric warranty.
Kooltech provides training across the country from any of its branches, and where required at its clients’ premises. In partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, Kooltech has opened a full training centre in its Fareham branch.
Kooltech operates throughout the UK and has a direct trade counter service at its locations in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Gateshead, Manchester, Birmingham, Heathrow, Crayford and Fareham.
Murray Sharp is delighted that the hard work of the Kooltech team has paid off with this year’s results. “Anyone can see that the market is going to be tough in the next year, so although these figures are fantastic, we are not complacent. Neither are we planning on standing still and will be continuing to find ways of supporting our customers so that we can all survive and prosper regardless of the economic outlook.” | |
