MID-YEAR RESULTS SHOW MODUS SURGING AHEAD

Fit-out to facilities management company Modus Group announced its mid-year trading statement today with turnover for the six months starting January 2008 ahead of budget at £60 million compared with sales of £91 million for the entire of 2007.

CEO Toby Benzecry states; “we’re very satisfied with current trading and prospects for the next eighteen months and beyond. Despite challenges in general market conditions, a number of factors are contributing to the continued growth of the business: concentration on framework agreements with large portfolio clients, diversification into markets that operate on different cycles to commercial offices such as technical fit out, strong growth in our Facilities Management division, and expanding demand for our services overseas.

“Since the MBO in July last year, we have restructured and re-energised the business. Our new branding is being rolled out, and the web site has been completely changed and expanded to provide the user with a searchable database of a large proportion of our recent projects and client relationships.

“Modus offers a compelling range of services to the occupants and owners of buildings and we are confident of sustained growth in the coming years.”
