Walter Meier (Climate UK) is now able to provide Blue Box Tetris modular chillers within two working weeks of order, providing a rapid response for fast-track projects and emergency chiller replacement projects.

Offering a high level of design flexibility, Tetris chillers offer superior energy efficiency with multiple scroll compressors and refrigerant R410A, compact dimensions with a small footprint and low noise - with precise control of every aspect of performance. They are available in 8 versions with 26 sizes, in capacities from 110kW to 930kW with many advanced options such as heat pump, integrated hydraulic module, total or partial heat recovery and free cooling.

The integrated hydronic module greatly simplifies installation and commissioning without increasing the overall size of many of the units, thus helping to optimise plant room or roof top space. It also ensures precise control of water temperature and dehumidification.

Use of multiple scroll compressors connected in tandem or trio provides efficient step adjustment to address variable loads, resulting in higher efficiencies at partial loads, thus achieving market leading ESEER (European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio). Compared to traditional semi-hermetic compressors, reduction in electrical consumption can be as high as 40% depending on loads. In addition, the use of a large number of smaller compressors provides extra system resilience in the event of a single compressor breakdown, as well as facilitating easier compressor maintenance and replacement.

Further energy efficiencies are achieved with the use of options such as electronic expansion valves and EC (electronically commutated) axial fans, providing up to 15% energy savings per fan, as well as reduced noise and finer control of air flow.

Advanced software developed especially for the Tetris range enables the running of a series of auxiliary activities to further optimise performance. Consequently, fine control can be achieved for each individual chiller circuit, exploiting the most favourable condensation and evaporation temperatures.
