 | | RSL CLEANS UP FOR PZ CUSSONS | | | Resin Surfaces Ltd (RSL) | | 31/07/2008 | | | Global toiletries giant, PZ Cussons, has brought in Steadfast Flooring to lay market-leading Resin Surfaces Limited (RSL) products at a new manufacturing facility in Salford.
The soap manufacturer, which owns household-name brands like Imperial Leather, Carex and Original Source, needed to cover a 735 sq m mezzanine floor at the facility, which is located in Agecroft on the border of Salford and Bury. And having previously used RSL product Resucoat HB in a 4,000 sq m installation at the same site by another contractor, PZ Cussons was confident that RSL could deliver again.
Steadfast Flooring laid one coat of Resuseal epoxy primer to seal the freshly laid concrete slab, followed by a coat of epoxy high build coating, Resucoat HB, to provide a smooth, easily trafficable and durable floor surface.
Dave Burrows, managing director of Steadfast Flooring, said: “Resucoat HB is ideal for the manufacturing environment, as it’s tough, easy to clean and resistant to chemical attack.
“Leading companies such as PZ Cussons need leading edge products at every level from manufacturing upwards. RSL provides the quality that such businesses demand at a competitive price, and they were the clear choice for this project.”
Ivy Wroe, managing director of RSL, said: “It’s great to be working with Steadfast again, particularly on a major project such as this. We’ve found it to be a mutually beneficial partnership, and one that we hope to build on in the future.” | |
