SAINT-GOBAIN PROVIDES INCREASED FLEXIBILITY FOR RAINWATER INSTALLERS WITH NEW BRACKETS
Saint-Gobain Pipelines
24/07/2008
Saint-Gobain Pipelines’ new rafter and rise and fall brackets are good news for installers of its Victorian Ogee range of gutter profiles.
Part of Saint-Gobain’s market leading Classical range of cast iron rainwater systems, the new brackets – available in 100mm, 115mm and 125mm sizes - have been introduced to extend the fixing supports for the most popular of Saint-Gobain’s decorative gutter shapes, the Victorian Ogee. The galvanised mild steel rafters and black coated mild steel rise and fall brackets provide the installer with greater flexibility when fixing the gutters where fascia board fixing is not possible or appropriate.
Incorporating all the material properties and benefits that make cast iron rainwater systems the first choice for traditional or listed properties, Saint-Gobain’s Classical, Classical PLUS and Classical Express ranges encompass eight gutter profiles. This makes Classical suitable for a wide range of architectural periods and styles whilst combining significant benefits to the installer in terms of speed and ease of installation.
Classical PLUS is supplied with a factory-applied finished coating that reduces the total installed time by up to 60%, eliminating additional labour as no under coating or top coating is required prior to installation. Classical Express, available in primer or with the Plus finish coat, is a true ‘half round’ gutter profile with significantly higher flow rates than traditional half round. A unique jointing clip enables joints to be completed in a matter of minutes.
