COMPLETE CONNECTIVITY SOLUTIONS FOR YORK® CHILLERS
Johnson Controls
22/07/2008
Johnson Controls has announced that its YORK® brand of chillers can now offer a complete connectivity solution thanks to the release of the E-Link gateway.
The new E-Link gateway enables a number of standard open communication protocol options, facilitating integration into a Metasys® building management system (BMS), or with third party monitoring or control system that supports standard communication protocols.
E-Link gateway benefits include:
• Efficient management of communication protocols used by YORK® chillers
• Data is managed in a consistent, organised and defined medium
• Configuration of the gateway for the equipment profile and output communication protocol is achieved by a simple switch selection
• Quick start-up of the connectivity interface to the chiller
The E-Link gateway is available as an option on current YORK® chillers or as a field upgrade and comprises of a circuit board that can be mounted directly inside the chiller control panel. It can be supplied within a 120/240V AC line voltage enabled enclosure.
This new interface will replace the existing YORK® Microgateway, which is being discontinued for new projects, although replacement parts will be available from Johnson Controls.
