Planet Partitioning, the UK's leading partitioning contractor, has supplied and fitted a range of its specialist interior products and created some bespoke areas for the new offices of consultancy firm Hymans Robertson at No. 1 London Wall.
Arranged over two floors, Planet provided drylining for the partition walls, feature ceilings and bespoke joinery for the doors and door frames throughout the anprox. 5,400m2 office area. The company's award-winning Solar glazed partitioning was specified along with a number of Elite freestanding glazed pods throughout the space.
Architectural interest is created by these freestanding areas from the use of various shapes, some square, some with curved walls and more unusually a bespoke elliptically shaped meeting area, with a mixture of solid and glazed walls. The company's Elite glass pod system was used for the attractive fully glazed functional spaces across the floor plan.
Elite is an elegant and distinctive partitioning system, available in curved and straight fully glazed panels, offering wall to wall, floor to ceiling, frameless dry-jointed glazing devoid of any intrusive structural posts. The effect is visually stunning and allows delivery of natural light into the workplace and creates the feeling of open space.
Planet were commissioned by main contractor Overbury, following a previous successfully completed project for the company in West London.
