Responding to the growing demand for coloured glass by architects and designers, Schott has expanded its Imera® product range of smooth body-tinted glass. The new 6 mm product is available in yellow, blue and green and can be processed in multiple ways, including tempering, laminating and shaping.

From façades to partitions, from door panels to furniture, Imera® offers an unlimited scope for both interior and exterior design opportunities. Being a machine drawn glass, Imera® provides an exceptional brilliance of colour which can be even further enhanced by its suitability for fusing techniques. Because of its excellent processing qualities, Imera® opens up a whole range of new potential applications for coloured glass. For example, the new 6 mm Imera® can be used in double glazed units.

Says James Wilson, Marketing Services Manager from Schott: “With extending its Imera® range of none textured body-tinted glass, Schott gives another example of its dedication to offering architects and interior designers the products they need to create bespoke, innovative solutions linking functionality with aesthetics.”
