In January 2007, as concerns for the environment continued to escalate, Promanex - one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial support services - launched an environment division to play their part in supplying services in this demanding sector.
Providing environmental solutions to key industrial markets, the division has enjoyed early success and has quickly secured itself significant market share in the field of precipitator maintenance services within the power generation and cement sectors.
As part of the Promanex group of companies, the division stands alongside a vast array of support services that span traditional FM, asset management and repair and maintenance services. As a result, clients benefit from a comprehensive range of support services that are driven by sector requirements to reduce both the supplier base and costs, through the trend of 'bundling' outsourced services.
More recently, Promanex's success and unrivalled reputation has been enhanced by the acquisition of Yorkshire-based Coventry & Co. - an engineering operation that specialises in mechanical and precipitator maintenance contracts. The acquisition gives the Promanex Environment division more diversification as it takes over well established contracts such as the Scottish and Southern Energy Plc account.
In its aim to create a better environment, the Promanex Environment Division provide services and solutions to air pollution control and ancillary equipment operation and maintenance with the capability to provide upgrades and new equipment. More importantly, the division is also solving particulate emissions compliance problems around the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
To carry out the wide range of services provided by the Promanex Environment division, an impressive team of 60 plus skilled operatives cover a wide range of engineering disciplines. The recent appointment of Abbas Alizadeh, an Electrical Engineer, further strengthens the team. Abbas is one of only a few people in the UK who are highly skilled in the field of electrostatic precipitator control systems.
