Lowara’s GEN Series booster sets are setting the standard in European fire prevention and fighting. The booster sets have been designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the European Standard EN 12845.
Lowara is a leading manufacturer of water pumps and part of ITT Corporation, the world's largest producer of pumps and complementary products for water and industrial fluid applications. The GEN Series provides constructors and specifiers of commercial, municipal and residential buildings access to a reliable, flexible and above all regulation-meeting fire-fighting system.
The European Standard EN12845 gives European nations a uniform standard for fire control and sprinkler systems. It specifies the requirements and recommendations for the design, installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems in buildings and industrial plant.
The GEN series pumps conform to the European fire-fighting standard EN 12845, and provide a higher degree of reliability.
Lowara offers the comprehensive GEN Series of fire-fighting booster sets, including models with one or two electric or diesel service pumps and some with jockey pumps for adapting to the specific requirements of each application.
The series includes the Lowara SV Series multistage vertical pumps, Lowara FHF and SHF Series end suction pumps, Lowara DFHFE and DSHFE Series diesel engine pumps.
The pumps feature options including self-test mechanisms and recirculation devices to offer the most reliable and powerful delivery to prevent and put out fire.
