 | | WOLSELEY SUPPLIES PRODUCT TO FIRST HILTON GARDEN INN HOTEL IN INDIA | | | Wolseley | | 08/07/2008 | | | Wolseley has specified and supplied bespoke shower cubicles to a new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Saket, India.
The UK’s leading distributor of plumbing and heating products, which is also a major supplier of building materials, supplied 100 Aqualux shower cubicles to the Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket hotel.
Sean Collins, Wolseley’s leisure sector director, said: “We have previously supplied sanitaryware products to various Hilton Hotels across the UK and are delighted to have been involved in this prestigious new build.”
The hotel is the first in Hilton’s joint venture partnership with DLF, India’s largest developer, to become operational. In 2007, Hilton Hotels announced plans for an initial 10 hotel projects in India, marking the first stage of development for the Hilton-DLF joint venture company, culminating in opening of the Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket. The partnership also plans to open up to 75 new hotels in India over the next five to seven years.
Sean Collins added: “We hope to continue to supply the walk-in shower cubicles, which have been developed exclusively for Hilton Garden Inn, as there is potential to roll out the new-look bathroom interior for its future planned hotel developments in India.”
