The showroom for hospitality industry specialists Stylematters – the largest of its kind in Europe – features fully fitted hotel, hospitality and leisure areas, with Expona Travertine, Black Slate and Rustic Sawn Wood effect tiles and Polysafe Standard Black Walnut safety flooring all contributing to the luxurious ambience of the project.
The flooring was specified by In2Design of Rushden, Northants, and installed by flooring contractors AFT of Burtonwood, Cheshire.
Combining stunning designs with quality materials and proven functionality, the Expona art & design collection has been specially developed to widen the horizons of creative interior design, offering a balanced choice of 20 timber and 20 stone/design effects.
Suitable for very heavy commercial use and ideal for a variety of hospitality, leisure, education, retail and specific healthcare installations, Expona features a polyurethane surface treatment, aiding maintenance and removing traditional restrictions on freedom of design choice.
Polysafe Standard offers a choice of 16 fresh, modern colourways and a surface emboss which hugely enhances its cleanability.
Coloured quartz, aluminium oxide and silicon carbide particles are incorporated within the product for improved traction and safety underfoot. The range also meets the requirements of EN 13845, fully conforming to HSE Guidelines and being BBA Agrément certified as G5ws. Polysafe Standard achieves a sustainable slip resistance value of ?36 on the RRL Pendulum wet test (Four-S/Slider 96 rubber) with a surface roughness of Rz ?20µm.
Fully tested to fire safety standard EN 13501-1, Polysafe Standard is certified as Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 ?8kw/m² and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass. | |
