This important link is the latest feature to be added to the website to enhance the experience when visiting the site.
The company now has what it believes is unrivalled experience in supplying a wide range of construction materials and prefabricated building envelope solutions that arrive on site and are simply fixed in place, cutting construction time and shrinking installation costs. Ruukki UK Ltd, the York-based UK subsidiary of Ruukki, is now at the forefront of the use of NBS specifications for all of its construction products.
In the UK, Ruukki has enjoyed sustained success with recent projects at Bourbon Lane Housing Development, White City, London, Liverpool’s Kings Waterfront Conference and Exhibition Centre and an ongoing major PFI hospital project in Portsmouth.
The companies Prefabricated Roof Elements are especially suited to buildings such as industrial units, warehouses, sports halls and large-scale housing. All aspects of each panel are manufactured off-site, including a single-ply external membrane which greatly reduces on-site installation time and cost – the only requirement is to weld the overlapping membrane joints in-situ.

The exterior wall system is pre-fabricated in ready-made elements, based around a framework of thermally broken steel purlins, commonly described as thermo purlins. Available in a wide range of bespoke sizes, elements are delivered to site, often with windows, doors and façade cladding already fitted.
The long span capability of their Roof Deck system reduces the need for secondary steelwork and improving internal building aesthetics. The depth and thickness of the long span decks in the system can be varied to allow longer or shorter spans.
The versatile nature of the Rainscreen cladding systems allow for fine tuning adjustments to be made to the precise construction to achieve a variety of aesthetic appearances. For example, different types of panel joint can be used to change the visual characteristics of the building façade. The appearance can also be enhanced by the use of different materials from copper to CorTen steel.
A wide variety of wall and roof cladding sheets are available in trapezoidal, sinusoidal or half round profiles and include the new and innovative Design Profiles S10 (Venice) and S34 (Rome).

The panels, which can span up to 8.00m, give up to 4 hours fire resistance without cold bridges. Ruukki Sandwich Panels are lightweight, durable and the specifier has the choice of up to 6 external profiles.
