 | | INDEPENDENT ENDORSEMENT FOR MERMAID | | | Ridgeons Group | | 25/06/2008 | | | Waterproof wall panels from the comprehensive Mermaid collection are being displayed in a shower enclosure at the new Independent Living Centre, near Cambridge. The facility was recently opened by Ridgeons, which is one of East Anglia’s largest building merchants.
The stunning Nebula Mermaid panels are just some of numerous products on show at the specialist outlet, which is located just five miles south of the city centre. Ridgeons developed the retail concept to provide much-needed advice and assistance about equipment and services required for the less able, including everything from lifts and ramps to specialist WC and shower equipment.
Mermaid – the ultimate waterproof wall panel system – was selected because it lends itself to full-room conversions. Made of a decorative high-pressure laminate bonded to 9mm water-resistant WBP plywood, the market-leading panels are available in different sizes and have a 100% waterproof surface. No grouting is required, which means the bathroom is ready for use immediately after installation and there will be no unsightly build-up of mould between tiles.
It is also easy to maintain. Just a quick wipe with a damp cloth or squeegee keeps the panels in pristine condition. Guaranteed to be leakproof and watertight for ten years, they are incredibly durable and won’t peel, flake, crack or chip.
“There are many products suitable for the independent living,” says Manager of the centre David Jacobs. “Ridgeons has sold Mermaid for many years and we believe in its quality and longevity. It offers many benefits to our customers. We are now looking forward to welcoming new and existing customers, but are also happy to give help and advice to telephone enquiries.” | |
